Subsequent Injury Fund Reimbursement

The Texas Labor Code and DWC Rules contain numerous provisions protecting carriers for overpayments due to decisions, orders or medical opinions that that are later overturned or modified by final decision or order. If you have made an unrecoupable overpayment, our law firm will request reimbursement from the Subsequent Injury Fund (SIF). Once we send the reimbursement request, we will continually monitor for the receipt of the refund from the SIF.
